Aims and Objectives
Our aim is to develop each child to its full potential in all areas - intellectual, social/emotional, aesthetic, moral, spiritual and physical, to eventually take their place in society as a happy and fulfilled child.
We offer :
- a curriculum following the EYFS Scheme;
- individual care/attention, made possible by a high ratio of adults to children;
- fun/friendship with children and other adults;
- opportunities for parents and children to be involved in the activities of the Pre School and to see their child progress.
We are open 39 weeks of school term time and follow the Derbyshire County Council Schools holiday list. Our sessions are : -
| Monday, Wednesday & Friday mornings : | 9.00 am -12.15 pm |
| Tuesday & Thursday mornings : | 8.45 am -11.30 am |
| Tuesday & Thursday afternoons : | 12.00-2.45 pm |
We offer education and care for children below school age from 2 years to 4½ .
Killamarsh Bears also supports two Toddler Group sessions known as "Little Bears" on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 1.00 pm to 2.30 pm. This group is open to parents/carers with children up to 2 years of age.
